Deadhead is a premium Mexican 10-year anniversary limited edition rum made to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the release of the first Deadhead rum. This elegant 80-proof spirit features a whiskey-style nose of stone fruit and maple syrup. Brown sugar melts on the tongue, followed by cigar-leaf and sassafras. Toasted pecan and oatmeal drive even more textual complexity. Oak and leather are magnificent on the finish, which delivers pure depth of character.
The rum is housed in a somewhat morbid bottle shaped like a shrunken head, known as a Tsantsa, a trophy hidden from a defeated enemy. We recommend serving at room temperature.
